Feature Musicians: A life-long observer of the folk music scene, Jim Broyles feels he has only begun his excursion into songwriting and loves to experiment with style. He draws his inspiration from everyday life, with a cast of characters taken from those he has known along the way and many he has conjured from his imagination. Moving from the sentimental to the serious to the humorous, Jim loves to find the ordinary and then put “extra” in front of it. Close your eyes and listen carefully to his songs.

Poet: Performance Poet SETH has been performing around Colorado for more years than most of us have fingers and toes. A writer of both fiction and poetry, he is best known for performing with various ensembles of musicians, actors and dancers. Currently, he appears every Sunday night at the Mercury Café with the improvisational music ensemble Art Compost & the Word Mechanics, inviting poets and singers to join them on stage.
